POLICE CONSTABLE CLASS III LEVELS CADRE POSTS
- Police Constable (Unarmed) in the State Police Force.
- Police Constable (Armed) in the State Police Force.
- Police Constable (Armed) in the State Reserve Police Force.
- Sepoy (Male) and Sepoy (Female)/Matron in the subordinate service of the Additional Director General of Police, Prisons and Correctional Administration.
LRD Police Constable examination shall be held in Two Successive stages in the following manner
- Physical Test (Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test): Qualifying Test
- Objective MCQ Test: 200 Marks

LRD Police Constable Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test shall have to undergo Physical Standard Test
- Physical Standard: Height for Male and Female; Chest (only for male)

LRD Police Constable Objective MCQ Test:
- 80 Mark; 80 MCQ;
- 40 % minimum qualifying standard
- Negative marking 0.25; “E” option
- 120 Mark; 120 MCQ;
- 40 % minimum qualifying standard
- Negative marking 0.25; “E” option
- The Objective MCQ Test shall consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Every question shall be of 1 mark.
- Every attempted question with an incorrect answer shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
- In every question, there shall be one option of “Not attempted(Option “E”)”. If the candidate does not intend to answer, he may select this option. If the candidate selects this option, the negative marks shall not be given.
- If the candidate has not selected any of the options given in the question, then it shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
- The Qualification Standards for Part A and Part B shall be considered separately.
- Candidates are required to be qualified in both Part A and Part B separately in order to be enlisted in the merit list.
- The order of merit shall be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in Part A and Part B ( Hereinabove case obtained marks out of 200 ).
LRD Police Constable Additional marks to be awarded after the Objective MCQ Test
- Additional 02 (two) marks shall be given to the candidates possessing a ‘C’ level certificate of National Cadet Corps.
- Additional marks as mentioned below shall be given to the candidate possessing any Diploma/ Bachelor Degree/ Post Graduation Diploma/ Post Graduation Degree of 1 Year and above duration awarded by the Rashtriya Raksha University (Previously known as Raksha Shakti University) or National Forensic Science University (Previously known as Gujarat Forensic University).
