Gyan Sahayak and Khel Sahayak Bharti: 2023

It has been decided to make contractual appointments of knowledge assistant teachers with the aim of not disrupting the educational work of the students until the vacant posts of teachers in the primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools of the state government are filled through forced recruitment. Besides, the physical and menstrual development of the students can be done properly and the interest in yoga, physical education, and sports can increase and the students of Gujarat can be represented in large numbers in the national and international sports competitions to be held in the future. It has been decided to implement the Sports Support Scheme for the purpose of preparing for games and sports. Following are the important points of both these schemes.

Gyan Sahayak: 2023

• It has been decided to fill the available vacancies in the government and aided primary, middle, and higher secondary schools, especially in the schools selected in the 'Mission 2 Schools of Excellence', to provide teachers per class.
• For this, 15000 Gyan Sahayak will be appointed on a contract basis in primary schools and 11500 Gyan Sahayak for secondary and higher secondary schools.
• A Gyan Sahayak of the primary department on contractual appointment will be paid Rs. 21,000/- for secondary section 24,000/- and for higher secondary section Rs.26,000/- higher honorarium will be given.
• Candidates who have passed the TET-2 examination for the primary section, TAT (Secondary) for the secondary section and TAT (Higher Secondary) examination for the higher secondary section can apply for job-based appointment as Gyan Sahayak.
• The applicants who have applied will have to select online which school/schools they want to work as 'Gyan Sahayak' from the list of schools published by the entire Education Office, Gandhinagar, and prepare the list of Gyan Sahayak for the respective district according to Merit cum Preference. It will be sent to the authorities.

Khel Sahayak: 2023

• A total of approximately 5075 Khel Sahayak will be appointed on a merit basis in primary, secondary, and higher secondary sections who have passed the 'Khel Abhiruchi Test (SAT)' in government primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools with a student strength of 300 or more.
• 21,000/- higher honorarium will be given to the candidates appointed on a contractual basis.
• The applicants will have to select online in which school/schools they wish to work as 'Khel Sahayak' from the list of schools published by the entire Shiksha Office, Gandhinagar, and prepare the list of school sports assistants according to Merit cum Preference of the respective district. Officials will be sent.
• Both these contract-based appointments will be made through SMC in Primary Department and through School Management Board/School Management Development Week for Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools.
